Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & District
Memorial Hospital created the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) in 2016
to formalize their commitment to work together to improve each patient and
resident’s overall health care experience through a strong, coordinated system
of care. An integrated Senior Team leads the two Hospitals, as well as Fairview
Manor and Lanark County Paramedic Service which are operating divisions of AGH.
Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acute
and long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and Renfrew
County.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of
Food Services to lead and manage our food services team at the Carleton Place
& District Memorial Hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality,
nutritious, and safe meals to patients, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the
Vice President, Capital Development & Support Services, the incumbent will
play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with
health and safety standards, and managing the department’s budget and resources
effectively.
Qualifications:
· Successful completion of an approved college Food
Service Management course is required.
· Minimum of three (3) years’ managerial experience in
a hospital or other healthcare facility is required.
· Must be a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition
Management.
Competencies and Personal Attributes:
· Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation
practices, and dietary requirements in a hospital environment.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with
experience managing and motivating staff.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in
a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make
decisions autonomously.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant
software.
