Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & District
Memorial Hospital created the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) in 2016
to formalize their commitment to work together to improve each patient and
resident’s overall health care experience through a strong, coordinated system
of care. An integrated Senior Team leads the two Hospitals, as well as Fairview
Manor and Lanark County Paramedic Service which are operating divisions of AGH.
Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acute
and long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and Renfrew
County.

Mandatory Qualifications:
• Graduate of a recognized school of Physiotherapy.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice with the College
of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Member of the Canadian
Physiotherapy Association is preferred.
• One (1) to two (2) years of
clinical experience in acute care and outpatient orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated strong
interpersonal skills to be able to build therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to follow written
and verbal instructions and document client care plans and progress.
• Demonstrated ability to work
independently.
• Demonstrated understanding
and commitment to health and safety policies, procedures and applicable
legislation.
• Demonstrated good physical
condition to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Availability to work a
flexible work schedule.
