The Carleton
Place & District Memorial Hospital (CPDMH) has a history of providing
exceptional medical care to the area. The CPDMH Foundation was established in
1994 to strengthen the hospital’s ability to provide high quality health care
for patients. Funds are raised for vital patient care equipment purchases,
staff training, student bursaries and upgrades to the hospital facility.
Reporting
directly to the CPDMH Foundation Manager of Engagement and Communications and
working alongside our dynamic and energetic team, the Gratitude and
Administrative Officer will provide exceptional customer service to
our donors, be responsible for all aspects of office administration along with
strategic planning and execution of program and gratitude initiatives with
donors. You will work collaboratively with the Foundation team to support
important organizational and fundraising programs with the goal of advancing
and promoting our significant work.
This
position plays a key role in executing the following key responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintenance and data entry of
all donor information, while issuing receipts, letters, personalized, and
tailored communications to donors in a timely manner.
· Provide office and administrative support to the
team and program operations.
· Work to continually build a culture of gratitude
and genuine appreciation at the CPDMH Foundation.
· Create and assist with the planning and
execution of program and gratitude initiatives including communications and all
donor appreciation events.
· Organize board meetings including scheduling,
logistics, and the preparation and distribution of materials.
· Proactively track our donors’ journeys with
attention to marking milestones and identifying potential new sources for
fundraising.

Qualifications:
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant
field.
· Minimum of three to five years professional
experience in a non-profit or charitable organization with exposure to donor
programs and philanthropy best practices.
· Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office and
working knowledge of Donor Perfect or Raiser’s Edge required.
· Customer service experience in a professional
environment is a must.
· Prior experience working in a staff capacity
with donors, volunteers and/or board executives required.
