Auxiliary & Volunteers
Fairview Manor has a very dedicated group of volunteers who enhance the lives of the residents on a daily basis. Although we do not have as many volunteers as we did before the pandemic, the group we have now is loyal and willing.
The Auxiliary/Volunteers continue to fundraise through our annual homemade pie sale, apple crisp and bake sales throughout the year.
The Auxiliary also operates the Tuck Shop here at Fairview Manor. The volunteers take the cart around weekly. The residents can purchase various items for the cart. The Tuck Shop funds are used for Christmas gifts for the residents.
The Auxiliary sponsors a Christmas Party where all the residents are invited to attend to receive their special gift. The Auxiliary/Volunteers support the Recreation Department in their programs as well. They help out at bingos, musical afternoons, meal programs, reading, pet visits and so much more.
There is always a need for more volunteers. Please contact Sheila Lefebvre at Fairview Manor at 613-256-3113 extension 2908.
