Accreditation Survey

Accreditation Canada is a national non-profit independent organization. It conducts extensive hospital reviews using more than 2000 different criteria to measure patient safety and quality of care. The accreditation process is intended to ensure that similar organizations are meeting a shared set of rigorous standards.

In 2023, AGH/CPDMH/FVM was awarded Accreditation with Commendation. As part of the program, the organizations undertook a rigorous evaluation process including; a comprehensive self-assessment and external peer surveyors who conducted on-site surveys during which they assess the organizations’ leadership, governance, clinical programs and services against Accreditation Canada requirements for quality and safety. This decision award means that all sites surpassed the fundamental requirements of the accreditation program.
