Quality safety is a priority of the MRHA consisting of Almonte General Hospital, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, Fairview Manor and the Lanark County Paramedic Service and we strive to be in compliance with all best practices from organizations such as Accreditation Canada and Health Quality Ontario. We work to continually find new and better ways of providing services, delivering care, improving the patient and resident experience and achieve even better clinical outcomes. Patients and their families are important members of the care team by working together with physicians, nurses and other hospital staff you can lower your risk of injury during your hospital stay.

The entire MRHA team is committed to your safety. By working together with physicians, nurses and other hospital staff, you can lower your risk of injury and make your hospital stay as safe as possible.
Help us make your stay a safe and positive experience:
- Be involved in your health care. Speak up if you have questions or concerns about your care.
- Tell a member of your health care team about your past illnesses and your current health condition.
- Bring all of your medicines with you when you come to the hospital or to a medical appointment.
- Tell a member of your health care team if you have ever had an allergic or bad reaction to any medicine or food.
- Make sure you know what to do when you go home from the hospital or from your medical appointment.
